The events of 2020 have been both unsettling and unpredictable for everyone, affecting virtually everything in our personal and professional lives. Indeed, You and I, LLC has been profoundly impacted as well. But, we march on!
Due to the nature of my work, I have always practiced specific precautions to protect against infection control. This involves specific protocols for masks, gloves, handwashing, cleaning and disinfecting, sanitation, and other disease prevention controls. The additional protocols to guard against COVID-19 are a straightforward extension of my existing and current practices. However, it’s important that all of my clients know what I am doing to keep them safe during and after COVID-19.
As a result of the coronavirus, I have revised some policies and implemented additional mandatory protocols and procedures for the safety of my clients and myself and to comply with mandates of the state of Maryland.
By booking an appointment at You and I, you agree to abide by the following policies and protocols.
CANCELLATION:
My Cancellation Policy requires at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
PLANNING/ARRIVING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:
Please do not bring anyone in with you to your appointment, including children, friends or relatives (unless they also have an appointment). I am following strict social distancing guidelines to keep clients and myself safe.
If you are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, have a low-grade fever, have been traveling or if you have been recently exposed, I respectfully require that you reschedule your appointment to at least 14 days after you have been symptom-free.
Please bring minimal personal items inside (a small bag or purse is permitted).
I am using a contactless thermometer to take temperature checks prior to service. If you have a temperature, we will have you reschedule your appointment.
You will be asked to wash your hands with warm soapy water for 20 seconds upon arriving, prior to your service. I also have hand sanitizer readily available for your convenience and safety.
A mask must be worn covering the nose and mouth when entering the building. Please arrive with your mask on for your service. If you choose not to wear a mask, I will unfortunately be unable to serve you. This will not be applicable if you are receiving a facial or hair removal on your face.
To minimize touch contact, I request that you provide payment and gratuities via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. If clients do not have the above payment methods, cash or check may be accepted.
